तांडव में नायक का बाप एक दलित नेता से कहता है - तुम्हारे बाप बहुत महिन जूता टांकते थे... आरक्षण देना हमारी मजबूरी थी, हमें भी अपनी छवि सुधारनी थी। नहीं तो तुम्हारी औकात नहीं है हमारे सामने बैठकर सवाल करने की। सच देखने के लिये हर दलित को तांडव देखना चाहिये।
