That last "strike" thrown by Tong to strike out his 6th was sooooo far from being a strike it was yet another disgrace from MLB umpires. As Mets fan I'm thrilled about yesterday's outcome, but it . But if that's a ball, things would have gotten very dangerous fpr tje Mets.

Mendoza should be getting booed here.. wouldn't that make sense if he gets someone hurt? No reason for this....Torrens whose defense and arm we need? Not that he would blow out arm. Its that a batter against him could hit a ball that rips his head clear from his body.

If Soto had such a good "eye at the plate" why does he look so bad with ugly strikeouts? An "eye" at the plate shouldn't be just about knowing balls and strikes. It should also mean how well he sees and hits not just whar he dkes or doesn't swing at. Stupid narrative frankly

Crazy stat.. The Pirates are surprisingly 9 game's over 500 at home. Cant believe anything out of Pitt would include a stat showing over .500 for anything. But the results is an away record of.. Get this their away record is 18 and 45 crazy. That record split is on their mgr.

Mets have to appreciate whatever chances they still have in making playoffs. Since all star break, that a number of teams didn't bypass us, is amazing. BUT Wheeler out for year is by far the biggest break we have gotten. A higher power is behind these Mets. Now its on the Mets

Mets didn't give up anyone of significance but wbat exactly was the point of brining in a CF hitting amd fielding below any reasonable stats/numbers? Upgrading at CF is one thing, but I can argue that Mullins is WORSE than anyone we could have played there. Laughable trade really

Fro Winston on the bomb to Collins... All Collins had to do is makr an effort to catch the ball.. If he did it would have been a guaranteed PI on the DE. Gotta wake up.. Be smart. Play hatd every damn snap.. Efforts mean as much as anything
