*But she holds her newborn daughter in place all by herself.*

*Abruptly, she casts the coverlet from her arms and reaches for the babe.*
*As she beholds the bundle that is presented to her, her mouth falls open, confusion then awe filtering through her lovely features.*
*But the young must have let out a sound, because the female’s head suddenly snaps around.*

*She’s pale as that which covers her, her empty eyes remind me of the tragic female who had passed unto the Fade before my own hearth.*
