I have been told that the College Sports Commission is keeping a watchful eye on efforts to break up $600+ deals into separate #NIL deals below $600 to circumvent disclosure requirements. The system is designed to prevent this type of circumvention. Enforcement remains an issue.

This is a good opportunity to source #NIL deals for UF athletes and provide experience for students who dream of becoming agents. But they need to make sure they are cognizant of Florida law on athlete agents. Technically, anyone procuring deals for athletes needs to be licensed.
