Over the last two seasons, Anthony Elanga has recorded 20 assists from just 9.1 expected assists (xA). His underlying numbers aren’t particularly impressive. I don’t understand why Newcastle offered £45 million for him, or why Forest turned it down. #NUFC

Nico Williams makes a lot of sense for Barcelona: he’s young, talented, and has great chemistry with Yamal. That said, I feel his consistency and end product don’t quite live up to the general perception around him. Still, I hope he is able to reach his full potential.

I don’t understand Brighton’s signing of Diego Coppola (€10M). He offers virtually nothing on the ball, and his raw defensive stats are inflated by playing for an extremely weak team.

Rasmus Højlund is a curious case. His numbers in the PL have been quite poor over the past two seasons, but his performances in European competitions have been significantly better. Perhaps in a less physical league he might be able to get his career back on track. #MUFC #Inter

Tijjani Reijnders isn’t as good as İlkay Gündoğan at his peak, though their styles are quite similar. I usually prefer central midfielders who contribute more out of possession, but Pep clearly knows how to get the best out of this type of profile. Good signing by City. #MCFC

As expected, Jamie Gittens is drawing interest from top english clubs. He's elite carrying the ball, not very good at passing (though that usually improves with age), and solid in other areas. Depending on the price, he could be a decent high-upside bet.

As previously noted, Mbeumo is a good addition for United. He aligns well with the profile Amorim seems to prefer and would free up Amad to play in his most natural role as a wingback. That said, much like with Cunha, the fee might not be ideal given he's already 26. #MUFC
