If a group of police officers charge someone with murdering one of their colleagues, get together afterwards to collude in writing up their notes of the incident in question, and at the bail hearing a Superior Court judge tells the Crown their case is weak, …1/4
and then at trial the police officers all testify under oath that the killing happened in a way consistent with both their collusive notes and with an intention to kill, and then the Crown itself calls an expert witness who testifies that it couldn’t have happened that way, 2/4
Interesting take David. I think this should go a bit farther and have the police and crown prosecutor investigated. As a RPAL holder it does remind me of the federal government and their continued use of ‘The States’ treasury to vilify gun owners. I don’t expect you to agree with me but maybe you could look at this issue with as much impartiality. Thoughts?
@DavidHamer_1951 Morning David, I'm with CTV News in Toronto. We would be interested in speaking with you about your thoughts on the state covering the legal bills for Mr. Zameer. Wondering if you could give me a call? 416-384-7100
@DavidHamer_1951 If Police Officers had to carry malpractice insurance like Doctors do this would never happen!
@DavidHamer_1951 If what you posted is accurate and therefore true, people need to be much more concerned about the fact that it was all fabricated and on the spot nobody was arrested for lying under oath and other offences. Scary times…
