One thing I regret is getting into Godot where as I should have started learning Unreal instead. Most game studios use Unreal, C++, or build their proprietary engines off the same structure as Unreal. Godot is good for indie projects, but not getting a job in the industry 😭

#gamedev #screenshotsaturday Created a random NPC generator in Unity. I'm an amateur 3d modeler, so I made a base body and several clothes models. All animations are from Mixamo, had to texture paint and adjust the rigging of the models so they all apply.

As someone interested in LLM AI tech, I'm pleasantly surprised and glad an actual open source AI is outperforming the tech bros and their million dollar investments. Really shows how superficial the AI bubble was. Been using DeepSeek and loving the creative capacity it has.

In other news, does anyone here have experience using LLMs like GPT, Gemini, etc DeepSeek just dropped recently and I'm curious if it is to similar or better than other LLMs in a creative aspect I used Gemini in a dating sim I made for NPC dialogues, and it was pretty solid
