I have almost never seen a VC platform team that was actually effective at helping founders recruit pre-Series A.

@andrew__rea @scribeceo @thegp @dan_portillo +1 @scribeceo ... I've seen @dan_portillo and the @thegp talent team change the game for several pre-A companies, first hand. Note, *TheGP* is a VC firm that was originally called "Sweat Equity" :). TheGP the VC firm has GPs, of whom Dan is one.

Yeah @andrew__rea, @thegp is the name of a fund with a platform recruiting motion that I know from experience working with them excel at solving this exact problem for founders. @dan_portillo and team are fantastic and the refs you’re getting in these comments are evidence of that.
