A lot of people are asking what we see in this image. The two orange circles show where the impacts were, 3 holes at each circle making it 6 in total. There is no other visible damage. Image from @michaelh992
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 I gotta say, this feels underwhelming. Decades worth of speculation and fear mongering and it probably be forgotten in a couple of weeks
@DefMon3 @joni_askola @michaelh992 This would make sence if they hit at exactly the same impact point, it would create a high crater since it would detonate way into the ground
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 I wonder if we can interpret seismic data to get an idea what it did underground.
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 To me they look very high up in the mountain, but i am no engineer or geologist who have studied this
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 they dropped them directly on a peak lol?!? Adding distance and material between the target?!? what great aim?!?
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 The entrance has partially collapsed no?
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 These are bunker buster bombs so obviously the damage wouldn't be visible from outside because they explode inside , it means they were able to penetrate deep inside the ground and 3 holes very close to each other means damage would be extensive underground
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 Intel on the damage will come from Israel’s spies who are obviously all over Iran. They now where everyone is, only way to know this is people inside.
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 This means that six GBU57s were dropped directly into the holes created by the first six. Which makes sense since the Fordow centrifuges hall is located at a depth of about 80 meters.
You need to understand how to read this image. 2 30k lbs bunker busters in each hole. Whole Fordow underground complex was subject to overpressure that was ultimately only stoppered by the massive multiton entrance doors. The worst possible scenario for future use of the facility, but the best possible scenario for containment: dump fill and concrete down six holes, and it’s good for 10,000 years. Everything in the facility has been dragged at the speed of sound and smashed hard into walls multiple times, including all the enriched uranium. Recovering anything at all would be immensely harder than starting over. The absolute ultimate embarrassment.
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 I have worked in underground mines, and collapsed tunnels are generally not noticed on the surface for many months.
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 It’s fucking underground buddy
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 6 holes...but 12 MOPs were dropped...which is what I expected (they we dropping a second one on the exact same spot as another one)
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 Where’s the destruction?? Trump promised me on live Tv , destruction, big destruction, huge destruction, the biggest the world has ever seen . He even thanked god.. I want my destruction that I was promised 🤔
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 You don’t see damage because the bombs exploded inside the target. If at least 6-9 bombed were dropped, that mountain is gravel inside now…
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 Those GBU-57s are no joke, designed to go deep. Seeing just those 6 holes after hitting the Fordow facility tells you it was a super precise operation. Sounds like they hit exactly where they needed to, especially with Iran trying to fill those tunnels beforehand.
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 See how a bunker buster works
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 Large sections of the mountain literally collapsed in. The local topography changed.
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 Crazy how technologically precise those bombs are.
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 I'm no expert, but I don't see anything here that looks like regime change. At best, it's just big holes in the desert. When will the US start taking this war seriously and give weapons to real fighters, like the Ukrainians for example?
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 That’s all you’re going to get. Did you expect the entire mountain to cave in? The destruction is all internal.
@DefMon3 @michaelh992 Note that the mountain did not cave in. This can only mean that the blast only occur deep in the mountain and not inside the tunnels!
