Although total TVL now is similar to late 2021, the composition by category is drastically different. 3 years ago, the biggest categories were Dexes, Lending and CDPs. Now, Liquid Staking, Lending, and Bridges are at the top, followed by Dexes, Restaking and Liquid Restaking.
