3. Why These Changes Are Important - Simplifying Ethereum makes it easier for developers - Reduce the amount of storage and resources needed to run Ethereum nodes - Overall, these changes aim to make Ethereum more efficient, secure, and user-friendly for everyone involved. 6/7
Some of these changes include: - Getting rid of old code that's not needed - Removing unnecessary features - Making storage requirements smaller to run Ethereum nodes - Improving log handling - Transitioning to a simpler data structure called SimpleSerialize (SSZ) 5/7
2. Other Simplifications (The Purge) - There are more changes happening to simplify Ethereum, which is being referred to as "The Purge." These changes aim to make Ethereum more efficient and easier to work with. 4/7
For eg, it could delete a contract and clear a lot of data in a single action, making it harder to manage the Ethereum network efficiently - EIP6780 makes it so that the SELFDESTRUCT operation only works under certain conditions, making Ethereum more secure 3/7
- It focuses on reducing the functionality of something called the SELFDESTRUCT operation, which is used to delete a smart contract from the Ethereum network. - Before EIP-6780, this operation could be used in a way that caused problems. 2/7

Now, let's try to understand Halving next 🔪-- As we discussed, the miner gets a certain reward in the form of Bitcoin after each block is mined This reward gets cut in half every 210,000 blocks, which occurs roughly once every 4 years.
