Year 3 Computer science student and you can’t code. God abeg o 😂

@DevTobs Sometimes students are just on their own. Primary schools in UK are using Code.org a free resource that really helps. It is easier than ever B4 with the Internet, the student must now do it on the side with Havard CS50 and all. E no easy o. God help us ❤️🙏

@DevTobs Studying software development from the university, especially Nigerian university is a total waste of time, I started coding few months back, but I help some of them with there 400L code projects, Some of them doesn't even know what they're doing

@DevTobs But why is everyone pretending to be surprised... Except you probably schooled abroad. In Nigeria? Unless na private Uni you attend, maths and stats will take away the joy you once had for coding, visual basic and math lab should be your fav.. make una leave us...No be our fault

@DevTobs Not every tech space requires coding, even if you dey year 3 and you no sabi code, you can do other things in tech space that will fetch you more money

@DevTobs I can categorically tell you that 99% of Universities that offer Computer science, the students don't know how to code. Those that code learned it outside the school environment.

@DevTobs Let's levae comp sci now. Can year 5 mechanical engineering students build anything or can year 5 elect elect students couple anything asides on book and paper. The problem is not the students sir, It is the system.

@DevTobs This is actually true.. A cousin sent me his school assignment on programming. I was even asking which language is to be used. Wen he said "Visual Basic" I was like Omo! do people still write code with 'this' language in this present days when we have likes of JS, Python, PHP etc

@DevTobs 200L second semester, lecturers were setting questions on input and output devices. I had to ask my coursemates if we were in sss2 or yr 2.

@DevTobs Actually my boss is a computer science BSc holder and knows nothing about programming, the surprising thing is that he's a millionaire 🤔 what a world.

@DevTobs Year 3 even better I came across a final year student of computer science who does even know that html is not a programing language.

@DevTobs In year 3, I didn't even do any course related to software development. I did more of Statistics and mathematics, that was when I knew that i had entered one chance

@DevTobs Many undergraduates in computer science don't even know what they are studying. you cant blame us. I don't even know what I was doing too. I got good knowledge when I got my first job.
