I’m at the point now where if someone asks me “What’s your budget?”, I just take it as them being rude. It’s really just a less direct way of asking “What’s the highest amount of money you’d be willing to part with and pay me?” 100 pct rubs me the wrong way

If you have a Tom Brady personality and thrive off perceived disrespect … then DJing is DEFINITELY for you, because you’re always gonna find someone on your level making more $ and getting better gigs, and it’s not always deserved. That motivation is always there if you need it

Damn.... @djmistergray just dropped the dopest "They Not Like Us 'remix I've heard so far, and I almost didn't even listen because I was thinking it was 110bpm and probably amapiano.
I usually love when editors put lyrics from the OG over a house remix that didn't have enough of them ... BUT ... having the Young MA Ooouuu lyrics drag out at 20bpm lower than normal over a house beat seems like a good way to put your crowd to sleep.
I’ve heard a couple blends in the last year where the acapella gets WILDLY off beat in the verse…but then is back on for the chorus. My brain is in a pretzel trying to get how this could happen.

I think it’s because DJs have to loop the same phrase 30x for the crowd to notice …and that makes it annoying. Also, the crowd still probably doesn’t notice lol
