Just listened to an author try to define “woke”. Offering this for consideration - Robust personal relationships benefit from recognizing that our understanding of history is woefully incomplete and personal lived experience is a grossly inadequate frame of reference.

Ruminating on the root of why people fear elected officials (i.e. presidents). Regardless of political affiliation, not convinced we need to fear the individual as much as the money or collective emotion that put them in office.

Pondering an apt descriptor for the current political climate and the term delirium tremens surfaced. Never mind the cause. It’s the symptoms that seem to fit - shaking, confusion, and hallucinations. Seems alcohol is not an absolute for a case of the DTs
