Good General Practice is RELATIONAL. The GP knows the patient and cares enough to become educated on her rare condition. The Govt conceives GP as being transactional. Care can be delivered by anyone. Don't even need to be a doctor. We will be sorry when high quality GP goes.

New law: Every time you say physicians just push pills and don't care about their patient's health, you have to do 8 hours of state-mandated shadowing of a family physician.

Doctors deserve to know the GMC's position on Royal College scope of practice proposals for PAs. Following a refusal to disclose its submissions, we have written to the @gmcuk calling for full transparency.
