This weekend, I had the opportunity through SNMA to bring undergrad students from my alma mater, Alabama State University 🐝, as well as Auburn University to our campus to expose them to VCOM and osteopathic medicine. Super grateful for this event and our school for hosting them!

Although I’m a first year, #DNRTulane has me extremely worried about my future as a black physician. We can be 10Xs as great as our counterparts and still end up with nothing to show for it.

I finished my first block of medical school today! Super grateful. There was a time where I thought I wasn’t disciplined, or dare I say, smart enough to go to medical school and look at me now! 🙌🏾
