I think if you dont play both sides (even just a little) you shouldn't get to have an opinion about DBD.

The whole footstep audio talk is weird because his sfx are REALLY quiet when he's obstructed in the survivor's POV. Otherwise, he's only loud when he's in the open. I can't count how many times I've perfectly snuck up on survivors or vice versa when I face him. It's inconsistent

Dbd players giving tips on gameplay always gotta flex their prestige before they say their main's name like it matters to the convo.
The doors are the best gimmick about him, but because survivors are so rotted by meta mentality, they don't use the cameras or door traversal for counterplay against Springtrap's stealth.

DBDtwt doing everything in their power to shut down any hype for a new horror game experience so they can stick to running around a garbage can with 500 ping. Halloween has room to show there could be improvement from dev choices and handling, but everyone is allergic to that.
Even if it goes down eventually, the factor of Illfonic implementing what sounds to be a solid, replayable offline Michael Myers simulator will keep the game fun. Having an assym alongside a story mode is such a good decision by them.
