Las Vegas Police are investigating a suspicious fire in a room on the strip. A woman was found in the fire, with unrelated injuries. She was later taken to a hospital where she died. It is being investigated as a suicide.

A large fire broke out in the cab of a semi truck this afternoon on the freeway between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Multiple trucks were damaged and so far no information on whether anyone was killed or injured. Smoke could be seen for miles.

I first reported yesterday that sources told me that the statewide computer outage was due to a cyber attack. The governor‘s office was forced to confirm it today. ktnv.com/news/statewide…

Officials have confirmed this cyber attack. They are calling it a “security issue”. Sources told me that the state IT department intentionally shut everything down to prevent viruses from spreading. Today is the third day of outage.

There’s a multi casualty incident reported on the I 15 near the Nevada California border. I actually just drove through this area and it looks like the incident happened after I had already passed. Massive police and fire department response was seen.
