most projects don't need 6 steps
they need a one-task onboarding that delivers the aha moment.
because focusing on fewer steps helps to reduce onboarding friction and deliver your value faster.

Unrelated but:
As a mod/CM, isn't it mandatory for you to know a bit about the project you're moderating?
Not the first or second time I've seen issues come up between mods and members because mods couldn't answer the member's question, nor give a "wait for dev" reply.

Most projects don't die down due to lack of hype
They die silently from growth and marketing leaks.
Lack of differentiation
High acquisition and low retention plan
Overlooked churns
But the thing is
Sometimes growth isn't about adding more, but fixing leaks

It's the last day of the month
And this time I'm not gonna lie.
I've learnt quite a lot.
Understood more.
Connected with more people.
Tested out something {didn't work}
And it's gonna be September in a few hours.

The hardest part of marketing and growth has to be creating a strategy for a project with broken UX.
Because no matter how good the campaigns are, users won't return to a product that feels like work instead of progress.

A community isn't just the telegram, X, and Discord group.
It's the energy, beliefs, collaborations, and participations coming from the members in it.
So don't just build a platform, build a reason for them to stay, show up, and bring others.

they adopt what’s easiest to understand.
