Application forms for next year's East Ayrshire Project SEARCH starting in September 2015 will be available in the next couple of weeks.
From our interns: Working on job seeking skills. This helps me find the right job, write good application forms and prepare for interviews.
From our Interns: We learn tasks and repeat these until we're good at them. We'll gain new skills and learn as much of the job as we can.
From our Interns: We're all back at work now and job coaches are in the hospital to support us for 2 to 3 days in our new rotations.
From our interns: Meetings for parents and carers to find out how we're doing and what we need to keep working on to become more employable.
From our interns:I like doing the team building exercises - our teams made paper towers and we had to work together by talking to each other
From our interns:Today we talked about resilience, effort, cooperation, flexibility and pride - all important to have for every job we do
From our interns: Still getting new tasks to do even in the last weeks of my placement, I like that because I want to learn as much as I can
From our interns:Just met with a careers adviser from SDS,she's getting to know us and help us find jobs that match our skills and interests
Today they're touring work placements, talking to interns, parents and NHS managers - we hope they enjoy their first visit to East Ayrshire!
