So far so good. Network is holding and software/hardware is behaving. ECSD is now a 1:1 school.
358 new Macbooks on the network now. That's up from around 90 a week ago. Still have a few more to go but pretty good for the first week.
Rollout dates are set for this week. www.ecsdcards.com for details.
Just got 329 computers in. Now just need to test, retest, and prepare a rollout. Still at least a week away from getting them to the kids.
Network and servers are ready. Now waiting on 330 computers. Could be any day now...then add a week for testing and setting up roll out.
Apple Engineer @ Earlham tom for 7 days. This helps our timeline quite a bit...we still may be several weeks away from a rollout though.
Paper work is now cleared up. Still hoping for a 2nd week of Aug rollout. Let's hope there aren't any supply chain issues.
Project is hung up on some paperwork from Apple. We are receiving sever room equipment but stalled on other areas. It will clear soon
All classrooms K-8 have SMART boards installed now. Next week HS will be done. Pretty exciting stuff!
Tech Comm has recommended a 1:1 handbook that will be reviewed by the Board tonight. I'm starting to get server equipment in.
