A U.S. Navy MQ-4C Triton drone operating out of Sigonella also carried out a surveillance mission over the Med, focusing on the coasts of Egypt, Libya, and Syria. It conducted multiple passes off Egypt, staying just outside the country’s airspace and territorial waters.
