The key here will be whether commercial data transferred can be subject to State monitoring/interception without effective privacy controls. An assessment still has to be made by the EU data exporter for each transfer situation. #GDPR #UKAdequacy

The DPC needs to start enforcing the GDPR properly, and that includes enforcement on smaller companies as well as tech giants. If it doesn't it is in effect penalising those good corporate citizens who have made an effort to prioritise GDPR compliance. irishexaminer.com/news/arid-4022…
