There has been a shift away from technical excellence, toward an emphasis on schedule - no matter the cost. Those who enjoy the deep dive in the technical, must move on to find purpose. I hope the shortcuts get you there faster, but the risk may be greater than the reward.

Owner requires ASME B31.3 design requirements. B31.3 says you don’t have to meet any of their requirements, if the owner accepts the analysis, then it meets B31.3. So, owner, do whatever you want and you’re still compliant. ASME B31.3 cancelled themselves. @ASMEdotorg

The stock market is responding to uncertainty, it is not reflecting the current state of the economy. Equities due well when investors have confidence they can predict the impacts of new governance and emerging technologies. There are uncertainties around both right now.
