No AC in the middle of a heatwave is no way to treat our city's older adults. The Department for the Aging is the lowest funded agency in the city. We need a budget that invests in our older adults! amny.com/news/midtown-s…
Thanks to Councilmember @ebottcher and @monicamoralestv for spotlighting our failing HVAC. We need the city's support to keep older adult centers (OACs) safe when temperatures soar. Its past time for the city to give NYCAging a capital budget to invest in OAC infrastructure.
