Yes *IF*. All the banks have to do is click a mouse, create an enormous number of new COMEX contracts, dump them and wipe out the whole bid stack. Real gold plays almost no role in this process. Fingers crossed everyone.

I suspect 99% of that gold sector is actually gold credit (paper/ledger IOUs of some sort), not the real thing. But very interesting nevertheless.
