I experimented with speeding up and slowing down the drum RPM. It has a big impact on the roast; I did notice on a small data set that the 20 RPM one wasn’t as good. Most likely I needed to develop it for longer because the heat was absorbing slower. medium.com/@rmckeon/drum-…

@EspressoFun I was thinking about sifting out fines (below ~200 microns) and grinds that were coarse maybe 750+ microns. I just read your article on Staccato and it is very interesting! I'll have to get some different sized sifters to see if I can produce a Staccato. Very cool! 😎

On this sober anniversary, I’m reflecting upon the fact that drug addiction absolutely destroyed my life. At same, drugs saved my life every time I thought, “I can’t take this anymore” and opted to get high rather than die.
