Price of aluminum, lithium carbonate (in China), nickel and cobalt have dropped 35-55% since their 2022 peaks. Shipping cost from China to UK & China to US (ie CATL batteries) have also plunged. Perhaps Tesla margins will not decrease. @Zerosumgame33 @WR4NYGov @squawksquare

$TSLA has $18 billion in cash & equiv. Yield on last 4 week Tbill auction was 2%. Much of the cash has to remain liquid but for fun IF most was in short term tbills would = $350 million/year = current quarter reg credits or additional few % to net profits. @squawksquare $tsla

Speed, cost, flexibility. Because officials in charge of the contracts over promise and under deliver; the firms & unions managing & doing the construction often terribly miss deadlines and are exorbitantly over budget. Due to politics and cronyism rarely is anyone punished.
