caleb is gonna have a crazy good year as long as the OL is healthy. watching these two first two games of season and all the time these guys have to throw, is why they don't need to be in hero mode most of the time like caleb was last year.

it's just preseason etc, but that half exceeded my expectations by quite a bit. caleb looked sharp and play execution overall is encouraging. lots of reasons to be optimistic about this season.

that's about as a good of a 1st drive we could have hoped for from caleb. maybe odunze and burden catch added in there would have me pinching myself. personally, i'd call it a day after that drive. no need to risk injuries.

bears struggles can all be traced back to passing on even interviewing harbaugh both times we could have had him. feels like we are ready to be dumb again.

bears have been competitive with a lot of good teams despite their troubles. but… pretty clear 49ers are on a completely different level. they aren’t playing like a 5-7 team today.

not much doubt now that tomlin made the right decision in moving to wilson over fields. i said it then, you want to find out early in season which one is capable of producing most via the pass. Wilson clearly that guy.

i’d have hired jim harbaugh last 2 times we fired our head coach. they didn’t even interview him. now he’s not an option. i haven’t had a big problem with flus as head coach till this year. last few games were beyond painful in terms of his direct head coaching decisions.
