Stuffing cooked in a turkey is the #1 cause of Christmast food poisoning. Undercooked turkey and stuffing = breeding ground for illness. Cook stuffing outside the bird (with drippings, obviously!). Turkey should be 165F in the thickest part of the breast. healthycanadians.gc.ca/recall-alert-r…

Poisonings happen most when a caregiver is distracted preparing dinner, or in the am preparing for the day. They may not realize it until the child is losing consciousness or hallucinating. Pill bottles are only child resistant, not child proof. parachutecanada.org/child-injury-p…
