Bernie Kerik was the 9/11 Commissioner. As we approach the 25th anniversary of 9/11 next year, this is what we should remember. NYPD’s response to that was like a large, ongoing military operation, and Kerik supervised that. The city stayed safe, and we recovered. RIP.
