I adore Elden Ring and enjoyed the DLC greatly but having it take a spot for Game of the Year over actual full game releases, and in such a strong year, feels like such a waste. It deserves to be honored, but it's not its own game.

Dragon Quest 3 remake has been such a nice little pick-me-up after the depression of the state of the world and the usual post game sadness of having beaten Veilguard. I adored this game as a kid and revisiting it now in what seems like its definitive version has been a treat.

Finished Silent Hill 2 remake. Damn, what a game. Fantastic remake that just drips with atmosphere and builds on the original in the best ways. Really cranks up the creepiness too, haven't been that on edge playing a survival horror in ages.
