The switch 2 did sell fast, but with only 3.5 million units (at $450) people had to be very picky about what games they bought alongside it. That, and switch 1 games work, so they have games to play on it.

I would imagine that if the current rog ally cost $900 the new Xbox portable will likely be in the same range. It’s going to be a hard sell for some gamers when the switch 2 is half the price.

The game-key card thing seems very strange to me. It doesn't benefit digital purchasers because they don't want physical, and people who enjoy physical copies won't want them because it won't have the game on it. So who are they marketed towards?
