Our area for teenage girls is in! 2.5 years of engagement and fundraising. Top of their list was a communal swing, and social seating (including climby seating). It’s a start, it’s a statement. It’s an area they can just ‘be’ teenagers! @MakeSpaceforGi1

Children’s increased access to online space and their loss of access to real, outdoor space are two sides of the same coin. Both caused by an appalling neglect of children’s needs, both feeding into each other, both doing huge harm to children.
Today I had a coffee from #FrothyCoffeeHut with Pippa @ForsterMPark to support local businesses and to see the new seats! Recent events at #ForsterPark have been alarming @lewishammps. But the more we come together the safer people feel!
We are aware of an incident in the park today This is being handled by @MPSLewisham Our thoughts are with those affected Info for park users: - The park and cafe are open - The top Whitefoot Lane entrance is now open - A cordon remains in place in the SW woodland area
Great fun getting my wellies and 🤲🏽 dirty to plant 🌳 @ForsterMPark with @PippaRanger and volunteers of all ages, to create a #TinyForest By using the ‘Miyawaki method’ of densely planting a variety of native species, the forest should grow fast and benefit our environment 🌍💚
