Apparently the national Free Cakes site has gone down, due to increased traffic following an interview on the Zoe Ball breakfast show. If anyone would like more info about the Reading #rdguk group (either baking for us or referring families in need of cakes) please get in touch.

If a 5 year old girl requests a skull cake for her birthday, then our bakers will try to oblige!
Peppa Pig is still our most commonly requested cake theme. Just look at these two beauties made by our lovely volunteers for #rdguk children who might not have had a cake otherwise.

I'd never heard of #beybladeburst before this cake was requested. I'm still not sure I know what it is, but I hope the cake helped a 7 year old boy have a very happy birthday!
We were asked if we could do a blue cake with red roses for a 13th birthday, so that's exactly what our fab volunteer Carol did - beautiful!
