The @NCAA killed the USC football program because Reggie’s parents took money from an outside agent. That deserved a vacated natty, 30 scholarships over 3 years, and a 2 year postseason ban? Congrats Mich for the slap on this wrist. Glad they had no issue punishing other athletes

When USC was punished for the Reggie Bush extra benefits saga, the NCAA vacated USC’s ‘04 title, banned them from the postseason and took away 30 scholarships. That punishment only gets more insane by the year.

Alright, amidst the Michigan penalty news I think it’s time for NCAA to reinstate USC’s 2004 BCS National Championship, ain’t no way the punishment fit the crime. Reggie Bush’s actions did not give any advantage on the field WHATSOEVER! RETURN THE RING NCAA!

NCAA just showed us their blatant bias and favoritism for certain teams… USC would be on a 3 year bowl ban , would’ve loss 30 more scholarships, and they would’ve enforced a rule cutting half our NIL budget to limit recruiting. Slaps on the wrist for the boys in blue though.…

By the way, USC was punished for 7 years, 2 year bowl ban, 30 revoked scholarships, 14 vacated wins, 1 vacated title, 1 vacated Heisman, and the end of a dynasty because Reggie Bush’s parents leased a house they found from a wannabe NFL agent. The NCAA is corrupt.

People love college athletics in a different way than professional sports because it’s the closest thing to grassroots sports in this country. The fans voices matter. From expanding the NCAA tournament to ruining College Football, why don’t those in charge care about us at all?

It’s not just this. Notre Dame physically dominated SEC Champion Georgia. Ohio State (4th in the B1G) and Tennessee (3rd in the SEC) weren’t even playing the same sport. Michigan beat Alabama. Illinois beat South Carolina. The SEC supremacy narrative was true for a long time.…

The SEC went 2-5 in the CFP over a two year span, didn’t make the title game either year, very fortunate to not miss the CFP entirely in 2023, snuck past ASU into the semis in 2024… …so the CFP format/structure/criteria/committee all immediately have to be changed! Very cool.

College sports fans in general need to be LOUD and reject everything that is coming out of the SEC meetings this week. The "leaders" of the sport are not going to do what is right because of ego and greed. The fans have to speak up.
