Mon 27-01-25, Route X69 delayed this morning due to flooding near Broughton Gifford. This means that the first 14 journey in Melksham will also be delayed by approximately 15 minutes.

Tuesday 7 January, snow update- 414 will start at 0812 from Frome, 162 is currently operating on main roads only, X69 cancelled this morning. All other routes operating as normal.

Storm Darragh update- Route 414, Unfortunately we are unable to serve Kilmersdon today due to a fallen tree blocking the road. Haydon will still be served as usual.

Sat 07/12/24 Storm Darragh, All FromeBus services are currently operating normally. We will keep the situation under review and should the weather deteriorate, we may have to suspend some routes.

Fri 06/12/24- Due to a vehicle breakdown, the Melksham Oak AM school journey will not be in operation this morning. The PM journey will operate as usual.

Tue 26-11-24 - Route 14 Melksham town service, the bus is currently stuck in traffic on the A350 just south of Melksham. It will start route 14 as soon as it arrives in the town.

Tue 26-11-24 - Bradford town bridge remains closed, so route 96 will be unable to serve Monkton Farleigh and Wraxall. The route between Bradford- Westwood and Trowbridge will operate as normal. Should the situation change we will post an update

Update- Route 98- Town Bridge closed, local bus is only operating between Rail Station, Southville Road and Sainsbury's. Route 96- The bus Cannot serve Monkton Farleigh, will only operate between Bradford on Avon and Trowbridge.

Mon 25-11-25- Due to heavy traffic in Bradford on Avon, the X69 is running around 25 minutes late. This will also affect the early 14 Melksham town routes which will be similarly late.

Sat 21/09/24- Christchurch Street West will be closed between 1400- 1600 today due to the Frome Carnival, therefore the 414 service arriving at 1405 and departing at 1415 will do so via Welshmill and Whatcome Road

Due to the temporary closure of the A362 at Buckland Dinham, FromeBus service 414/424 is unable to serve the village. The closure is from Wed 7 August until Thu 8 August 2024.

Due to the closure of the B3139 at Kilmersdon, the 414/424 service will have to make a diversion and therefore will be unable to serve the villages of Charlton and Kilmersdon. The closure is due to start on Mon 8 July 2024 and will last until and including Sat 14 July 2024.
