This is a Bitot spot which is caused by Vitamin A deficiency. Colestyramine is a bile acid sequestrant which can reduce the absorption of fat soluble vitamins (Vitamins A, D, E, K). Look for Bitot spots and check Vitamin A levels if visual disturbance is reported.

Continued demonstration that #SIBO is present in about 60% of #IBS. During breath testing hydrogen sulfide is very important in addition to hydrogen for the diarrhea. This last year many patients treated for H2S with great benefit!
