Since @HMRCgovuk announced the 10th #LoanCharge suicide, we have received a number of emails from distressed individuals, some reporting suicidal thoughts. We’ve been given permission to share this one. A resolution is desperately needed. Please, no more #LoanChargeSuicides.

HMRC instigated my husband's bankruptcy in 1995. We lost everything. Most importantly we survived. Our two girls are amazing products of tenacity. We relish in their continued success. The only difference is I recommend this man sits down with his wife and explain like I did. Whilst it didn’t go away she saw the pain I was in and a lot of it then made sense to her. Problem shared is a problem halved. Not quite like that but helps. Promise

Carrying so much stress and anxiety that it slowly breaks down the body and mind. The government needs to step up. A resolution is required. This is not sustainable. Life is worth so much more.
