So, what are those schools the @guardian interviewed doing? How can their senior leaders allow a teacher to tell students to put their phones away "20 times a class"? In well-run schools we don't even do it once. Phone seen? Phone taken. 3/

In UK schools I've worked, the policy is if we see a mobile phone we confiscate it. Only a parent can pick it up from the school office at the end of the day. This is a great deterrent - I almost never see a student take a phone out in class. 2/

Is this what @greekferries are like in 2023? How can #levante_ferries continue to disregard common sense H&S regulations that are the norm in civilised countries? People not only couldn't get into their cars, there was no safe place to stand as cars were being offloaded.
