Although the # of books is just 1 aspect of a well-developed collection, 1 professional recommendation is that high quality school libraries should have 15-20 books per student. Our GTHS library has 5.5 books per student, far below a high quality school library. #GTHSReads #CJUSD

📢 Teachers & librarians: if you're decorating your spaces for Christmas but not for Eid, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanza etc. etc. it's a disservice to your students. I'm all for celebrating religious holidays, but please don't show favoritism 📢
