I'm tempted to redo the map system in my game. I think I'll have two different approaches, one for the overworld (because it's a huge map) and another for regular maps. Hopefully this won't be as nightmarish as it was working on maps last time...

Heads up: The latest version of Mesen 2 has added WonderSwan support, complete with high (if not perfect) accuracy and - importantly for all WonderSwan homebrew developers - most of the debugger features Mesen is beloved for. Massive thanks to Sour for all his work on the core.
