Just got basic placement working using some super basic art. I decided to switch from HDRP to URP because I am going to go the Web route instead of desktop. Changed the hover up a bit too.

I started on a game last night, that I am determined to actually finish and release. Its going to be a hex-tile-based, factory automation game where you mine elements out of the atmosphere. I am calling it Dark Factory. I started with placing tiles.

I had to tell myself to chill out this morning. It is easy to start making a lot of mistakes when you are rushing. Sometimes I get frantic, thinking I will get the results I want, "faster". Speed comes from consistency, not from rushing.

I am probably super late to the party on this, but if you are creating in Unity, the first thing you should do is map the Main Menu/Edit/Play command to you mouse's #3 or #4 button. To get there Edit -> Shortcuts. I do realize everyone on the planet has probably done this…
