I try not to leave things unsaid when it comes to people, projects or art I enjoy. We are but a blip in time in the grand scheme and honestly, it’s worth it. It is far easier to engage in joy when you’re vocal about it! So go my friends, tell your people you appreciate em. 🙌

Will top down Persona excite in the same way as turn based? I’m liking the looks of it. If the title manages to marry the over the top wildness of Persona with classic turn based RPG mechanics like summons and manages to grow the medium somehow, it has potential. Exciting.

Really enjoyed the short time I spent playing #beforeweleave by in-house favourite @Team17 on #XboxGamePass Nothing revelatory to say, but I lost more time than I’d care to admit to it. Fantastically charming. Beautiful reimagining of the post apocalypse genre.

I love it when a game does the work with characters. Doing background on the growth of RPGs, particularly BioWare (laymans: playing @dragonage 😅) - there’s a charming moment that shows Varric’s kinder side. Apparently he gives Merrill a ball of string to stop her getting lost.

I know not how to feel in this moment. Saw him at Ally Pally with my old man in a hugely formative moment. Saw Faithless several times elsewhere but I’ve always returned to that gig, so much so I was listening to the album from it yesterday on repeat. Rest in peace Maxi Jazz.
