Normal buyer behavior is always risk averse. IBM knew that rapid "obsolescence" of new #tech a significant buying objection. .: IBM PC's expandable w/ open stds for hdwr &/or sftwr upgrades. If a personal #robot can *never* have arms, then "obsolete" w/purchase. #AIEthics

@shadowymaus I defer to you re the other tech that may exist along these lines but I do know the precedent for more data access and harvesting is strong here. We will hear many messages of “share more data to help people” but little to no messages of “share data better via sovereign means.”

@AkinUnver Whatever the health benefits the fact that data sovereignty doesn’t exist means more human data will be accessed and exchanged without genuine consent. That’s the core issue and distracts from the tech’s potential benefits.
