Pro-freedom? Me too. But AT MINIMUM, physical violence against innocent people for no self-defense or just war type of reason must be illegal. So abortion must be illegal. I’m pro-freedom, but physically killing an innocent human isn’t a thing anyone should have the freedom to do

People changing their mind in front of you is not the only way to measure success. It might be that the person you’re talking to feels more comfortable around you, so you have a longer, serious conversation that the person can reflect on later.

What’s our goal for stopping abortion? We have no interest in controlling women’s bodies or punishing people for having sex or something. We just want to end legalized killing of innocent people, and the unborn are people.

I think we agree that killing people, generally speaking, shouldn’t be an option. So, if, as I’m claiming, abortion kills a person, then abortion shouldn’t be a legitimate option. I’m not forcing the woman to do anything by arguing that we should take away an illegitimate option.

“Evicting” a fetus from your uterus is the same as dropping a toddler in the ocean; both are perfectly healthy humans, just too underdeveloped to survive in that environment. Forcing them into an environment where you know they can’t survive is killing and must be illegal.

I think we should accurately describe other people’s positions because it demonstrates that we care enough about them and their views to try to understand them. We should love the people we’re talking to and not just see them as an object, a mind to be changed.

Consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy? If I go to a casino and bet on roulette, but it doesn’t land on my number, I lose my chips. I can’t say “now that I’ve seen the outcome, I withdraw consent.” You don’t get to withdraw consent from effects of an action you consented to!

“I regret my abortion” is the easiest pro-life slogan to counter, because all the pro-choice side has to do is put up a woman who says “I don’t regret mine.” Abortion isn’t wrong because women regret it or it hurts them. Abortion is wrong because it kills an innocent person.
