A Wrap to Women in Construction Week! GeoStructures would like to celebrate all of the women in the construction industry. Women in Construction Week was founded by the National Association of Women in Construction. NAWIC began in 1953 to help create a support network.
GeoStructures recently performed ground improvement work for GFC Development on the Linden Warehouse project in Linden, NJ. Utilizing the Impact® Pier System over piles provided significant saving to the owner.
GeoStructures is currently building multiple sound walls at select locations on I-66 Eastbound and Westbound. In addition to sound walls, GeoStructures is constructing several tieback walls. #soundwalls #groundimprovement #tiebacks

To control differential settlement, EE Reed the GC and GeoPro the geotechnical consultant, worked with GeoStructures to develop a design-build solution to support the footings using Geopier® Cement Treated Aggregate (CTA) pier elements at a Northern VA data center.
The Chesapeake Region Safety Council presented GeoConstructors with the “Gold in Construction Trade Contractor” award. In addition, GeoConstructors also received an award from The National Safety Council for the “Significant Improvement Award” in safety performance!
