The P-8A Poseidon - the U.S. Navy’s primary maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft - recently receiving two key upgraded systems. The MUOS satellite upgrade enabled Poseidons to share targeting data and sensor feeds in real-time with ships, submarines, and ground units.
A large-scale search is underway in Norway for a russian submarine that is believed to have threatened the US aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford in the Norwegian Sea. According to Dagbladet, Norwegian, British and US aircraft have been searching for the submarine since Sunday.
