The new GUI is nearly done, just a few touches remain and then I will get back to creating content. Here's a comparison of old vs new dating interface.
The goal now is to wrap up the rest of the GUI work and then start producing content for the game again, with the goal of having a vertical slice done before the end of the year. Expect more updates soon!
Other new additions is a new set of character art, which @cosmic_arcadia has been helping me create (again, still placeholder but a lot better/more consistent looking), including a basic set of character animations to show emotions. Also, tooltips!
After a long period of silence, I'm happy to announce that Victorian Secrets is very much still under development. I've been re-doing much of the game's core systems over the last few months, including creating a new (still placeholder!) GUI. Here's the new title screen:
Putting some more time into Victorian Secrets this weekend! Added a basic tutorial that teaches players the complex art of dating.
Last day of vacation! Have been working on implementing support for new and more interesting types of cards.

Just a tweet to say not to worry, progress still happening! Currently finishing up the last few scenes before the promised stream.
It can be turned off for more historical accuracy though!
The honorific used depends on which character is speaking, and will take into account age, gender, social status, relationship, etc.
