At dads house for family vacation. Watching movie on his 77in LG OLED I recommended. He's had it for a year.... Not only has motion smoothing on but blue light filter the whole time. Setting change blew his mind

With all the talk about AAA studios and their issues, I continue to be amazed at how the Mega Man series was just...killed off. How hard could it be to cheaply turn out new versions of MegaMan X games? I can't imagine dev costs that's high - make a $40 version every year!

As a huge MGS fan, I couldn't get into Death stranding on multiple attempts. Currently debating if I should just try it one more time or just watch a story recap to potentially make me decide if I want to try DS2. Any thoughts?

Alright weekend games to dive into - thinking Oblivion Remaster and Trails through Daybreak. Since I got burned out on Triangle Strategy, I think I might give Tactics Ogre a shot again instead

absolutely love parrying but PLEASE don’t make this the standard. turn based rpgs are about the numbers and the turns and the strategy. it is the beating heart of the genre. make more of these sure! but it can’t replace traditional turn based systems.

Think I'm moving on from triangle strategy. Just couldn't get into the boring narrative/story and not having a job system kills creativity. Might play one more battle and see if anything clicks but on chapter 11 and just not buying into it. Start the countdown to FFTs return

The FFT news comes on the heels of me deciding to play Triangle Strategy finale and woo boy let me tell you something about story exposition and pacing...this is a tough slog to start...

Lots of chatter around Kingdom hearts. I loved KH1 and KH2. I tried playing 3 but couldn't understand a single thing going on and got burned out. Do people really understand what is going on in the story or do they just power through the gameplay?

I know this is a new account and it may seemile I'm riding the hype train - but Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is one of my favorite games of all time, and is easily in my top 10 and probably top 5 (I should put that list somewhere)...captures the magic of gaming so well
